Sheree Dolores Collins

Sheree “Dolores” Collins, age 69, of Mt. Airy, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, July 3, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1956, in Surry County to the late James Winfred Collins and Polly “Lena” Mae Arnder Walker Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Hester, and her husband, John Cardwell, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Jimmy Collins; her granddaughter, Brittany Anderson; her great-granddaughter, Peyton Adams; and special cousins, Crystal Arnder Chappell and husband Anthony, and David Arnder. 

A private burial will take place at Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her family.
