She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlos Ray Marsh; two brothers, Donnie and Ronnie Sullivan; and a sister, Pat Mounce. Blessed to grow up in a large family, she grew to enjoy family gatherings, even after she married and had children of her own. Fishing with family, listening to gospel music, and cooking for her children, grandchildren and friends were favorite activities for Sylvia. Her loving manners and warm spirit left an indelible mark on those who knew and loved her and will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends at Cox-Needham Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 PM.
