Tammy Sue (Marion) Cooke

Tammy Sue Cooke, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home on December 2, 2025. She was born on December 15,1960, to Jerry Thomas Marion and Midgie Irene Atkins. Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Thomas Marion and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raybon and Bonnie Cook.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Jeff Cooke; her loving mother, Midgie Irene Atkins; her sister Cindy (Todd) Joyce; her brother Randy (Susan) Marion; and her sister-in-law Cheryl (Dean) Bennett. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, one cherished great-niece, and her beloved cat, Sassy, who was always by her side.

Tammy worked proudly and diligently as a Supervisor at Cook Medical, where she was known for her dedication, strength, and warm spirit. Outside of work, Tammy was a die-hard Carolina fan and shared an unforgettable bond with her cat Sassy. She had a joyful obsession with the Grinch, a reflection of her playful personality and ability to bring smiles to those around her.

Family was the heart of Tammy’s world. She treasured every gathering, every laugh, and every moment spent with the people she loved. Her presence brought comfort, her humor brought joy, and her love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Tammy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kind and generous soul. Her memory will forever live on in the stories shared, the traditions continued, and the love she gave so freely.

Visitation will be held at Coxneedham Funeral Home on Monday December 8, 2025 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Funeral service will follow after the visitation.  

In leu of flowers, the family asks that donations to be made to Jessup Grove Cemetery Fund or Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.
