Verline Rosales Obituary
Mrs. Verline Rosales, age 89, of Pinnacle, passed away on March 11, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on March 4, 1933 in Pinnacle, to the late Sanford Leal Ashburn and Lola Ree Edwards.
Mrs. Rosales was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Pinnacle. She spent 18 years at AT&T and finished up her working days by making biscuits and opening restaurants from King to Cana. Verline was also known for feeding people in the community, whether it was preparing a Father’s Day dinner for farm workers working far from home or bringing groceries to families in need.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Nicolas Rosales Rosales; daughter, Angie Tussey(Eric); stepsons Erverto Rojas Rosales and Jose Gerrardo Rojas Rosales; grandchildren. Dawson Shane Tussey, Chloe Mae Tussey, Brianna Jones Allen, Dakota “Cody” Jones (Mariella), and Casey Hedrick; and great grandchildren, Corbin Allen, Jackson Allen, Weston Bobby Hedrick, and Isabella Deal.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Rosales was preceded in death by her son Tony Christopher Jones and a sister, Margaret Josephine Poindexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 19th at 2pm at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Pinnacle. Mrs. Rosales will lie in state at both the church and funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
