Virginia "Ginger" (Butcher) Lawrence

Mrs. Virginia “Ginger” Lawrence. age 74, of Dobson, passed away on July 5, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on June 10, 1949, in Mingo, West Virginia. to the late Jimmy and Hazel Butcher.

Mrs. Lawrence worked as a CNA and loved the Lord.  She was an all around sweet, caring, and giving person.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Tom Lawrence; daughter, Gwen Tipton; brother, Robert Butcher; and sister, Judy Potter.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her brother, David Butcher.

Funeral services will be conducted July 9th, 2023, 2:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Kennedy officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
