Vivia (Fulk) Tilley

Mrs. Vivia Tilley, age 78, of Pinnacle, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

She was born on January 16, 1944, in Surry County, North Carolina, to the late Solomon Burgess Fulk and Ethel Key Fulk.

Mrs. Tilley worked at AT&T/General Dynamics before her retirement and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She loved reading, taking care of her family, spoiling her grand dogs, and traveling with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 56-years John Tilley, Jr; her son John Tilley, III. and wife Carol and two daughters Sherri Tilley and Lisa Tilley Corns and husband Jason; a sister Joan Key; Step-Grandchildren: Kyle McGee, Cheyenne Rowe, Gabe Corns, Kyle Wentz, Kody Wentz, and Amanda Jean Mullery; and Five Grand-Dogs: Oreo, Jax, Holly, Earnest, and Odis.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Tilley was predeceased by her brothers Warren Fulk, Curtis Fulk, and Solomon Burgess Fulk, Jr (SB) and a sister Elba Joyce.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2pm at Fairview United Methodist Church, located at 3692 Quaker Church Road, Pinnacle, NC 270431 with Pastors Duncan Martin and Chris Joyce officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27,2022 from 1pm – 2pm. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
