William Earl Tinch

Mr. William Earl Tinch, age 61, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on December 16, 2023, at his home.

He was born on August 14th, 1962, in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Glenda Sue Simpson.

Mr. Tinch proudly served our country in the Army/National Guard and served in Desert Storm.

He loved fishing and riding jet skis; one memorable story when he was fishing in a canoe, he caught a 55lb striped bass that pulled him around the lake.

He is survived by sister, Carole Wehrmeyer; two nieces, Melanie Dreher and Crystal William.

Mr. Tinch was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Sue Simpson.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 1pm at Pilot City Cemetery.
