Dear Family,
Please accept my sincere condolence on your loss. The Bible can bring you much hope and comfort at a time like this, because within its pages are the precious promises from our Almighty Creator that soon He is going to end death, sickness and sorrow (Revelation 21:3,4). In addition to that, our loving Heavenly Father has made arrangements through His Son, Christ Jesus, to bring back to life "all those in the memorial tombs" (John 5:28,29). May you find the strength to hold on by meditating on these beautiful promises from Jehovah God.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Don at AT&T/Lucent Technologies. He was such a valuable asset to the company and to all who worked with him. He spoke often of Michael and was so proud of his son. Michael I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you and the Venable family in my prayers. Your dad was a wonderful person to all who were fortunate to know him. He was very special friend.

Don was a great worker and even a better person. He once sold me a great car well under the value of the car because he knew I needed one. I worked with him for many years at AT&T/Lucent. I remember him as a very warm person that made you feel at ease no matter what the situation. He often spoke of his family and I know he was very proud of Michael and was deeply devoted to his wife. Don will be deeply missed. Thoughts and prayers are with the Venable family.

I was so sorry to hear of Don's untimely passing. We were co-workers for many years at Western Electric/Lucent, and later, neighbors in Forest Oaks. Solveig and I enjoyed many fun times over the years with Don and Kaz, and he will be missed. I am currently visiting family in Illinois and am very sorry to miss Tuesday's Service. I send my heartfelt sympathy to Michael, Melissa, and other family members.

Ruth and I were neighbors of Don for many years and are grandson Justin and Micheal were playmates when Justin would visit us.Don was a real gentlemen and always had a kind word.We are so sorry to hear of his passing and send are deepest condolences to the family.

I worked with Don at Lucent Technologies. We were very surprised to find out we grew up in the same area. He was a great person as a friend and as a co-worker. He will be missed by everyone.
