Laurie Brooks Nance, age 94, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Village Care of King.
He was born on September 24, 1921 in Moneta, VA to Walter Scott Nance and Sally Watson Nance. Laurie was a D-Day Veteran.
Mr. Nance is survived by his two step sons, William Roberts and wife, Derena, Terry Roberts and wife, Linda; two daughters, Patricia Neuroth, Laurel Holder; one brother, John Nance; one sister, Gaynelle Nance; three grandchildren, Evan Holder, Ethan Holder, Lydia Holder.
Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brooks Nance; daughter, Gayle Nance; brother, Jimmy Nance.
Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Ruby Davis officiating. Internment will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
