Margaret Ruth (Owens) Wright

Margaret Ruth Owens Wright, 98, of Westfield went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 7, 2015.

She was born September 13, 1916 to William Henderson and Regina Richardson Owens.

She was the widow of the late Leonard Wright. She worked in the textile industry and was a loving caregiver to her mother and brothers. She is survived by her sister, Florence Alley of Danbury, and sister-in-laws, Betty Owens and Roxie Owens of Westfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, five brothers, four half brothers, and a half sister. There will be a graveside service at Westfield Baptist Church on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Joel Stevens officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery fund, 6713 Westfield Road, Westfield, NC 27053.
