Peggy Mayola (O'Neal) Ring

Mrs. Peggy Mayola O’Neal Ring went home to the Lord on June 9th, 2016 at her home with her loved ones by her side. Peggy was born on December 26th, 1924 to the late Cebron Vaughn and Pearl Shinault O’Neal. Peggy was a member of Pine Hill Church. Peggy or Nanny as most of her family called her was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. Peggy loved the Lord with all her heart and devoted herself to church where she played the piano for over 50 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children Gregory Lewis Ring and Pamela Lynn Ring Hutchens, and one son in law Claude Michael Riddle. Her grandchildren from the first generation to the fifth generation, special nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and her sister in law Virginia Ring Jones. In addition to her parents Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Coleman Ring, two daughters Janice Ring and Sandra Ring Riddle, one son Jeffery Ring, two brothers Taylor O’Neal and Vaughn O’Neal and her sister and best friend Virginia (Jenny) O’Neal. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday, June 12th at Pine Hill Church. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jeff Moran, Rev. Terry Johnson, and Pastor Joey Lane. Special  poem by grandchildren. Internment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends Saturday, June 11th from 6-8pm at Cox Needham Funeral Home and other times at Peggy’s home.
