Beatrice Smith Hunter, age 74, of King, NC, passed away on July 4, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
She was born on June 21, 1941 in Guildford County, NC to the late Otto Smith, Sr. and Elsie Bowman Smith.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by her loving husband, Jackie Hunter; two sons, Michael Eugene Hunter and wife, Tammy; Mitchell Earl Hunter and wife, Tammy; a daughter, Teresa Denise Hunter Wilkins and husband, Jerry; eight grandchildren, Jason Hunter and wife, Amanda, Jennifer Johnson and husband, Brad, Jaclyn Ballard and husband, Chad, Brandon Wilkins and wife, Janelle, Landon Wilkins, Mason Wilkins, Maddison Wilkins, and Faithlyn Wilkins; three great-grandchildren, Hallie Hunter, Saylem Ballard, and Keegon Wilkins; two brothers, Otto Smith, Jr. and wife Brenda, and Jerry Smith and wife, Linda; and one sister, Frances Wiles and husband, Desley.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, King David Smith; and two sisters, Ruth Turney and Faye Fowler.
A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M with Pastor Carl Goodman officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
