Samuel Gray Holder

Samuel Gray Holder, age 76, of Westfield, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born on September 25, 1939 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Sam Sion Holder and Mary Louise Nelson Holder.
Gray was a retired from RJ Reynolds and member of Brown Mountain Baptist Church.
Mr. Holder is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rosie East Holder; four daughters, Elane Meeks and husband, Paul, Lee Ann Vaughn and husband, Chris, Myra Brim and husband, Jimmy, Tammy Washington and husband, John; two sisters, Mary Ollie Smith, Betty Ruth Hicks, several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Brown Mountain Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Eddie Carter officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
